Benjamin, Hamburg und Leipzig, 1913<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Schule von Alberto Bracony enth\u00e4lt in einem Band mit 79 Seiten alles wichtige, was man \u00fcber die Technik der Mandoline wissen muss. Das Lagenspiel wird bis zur 6. Lage eingef\u00fchrt, Doppelgriffe, Bindungen, Pizzicato der linken Hand, Spielen von Melodie und Begleitung zur gleichen Zeit oder Arpeggio werden behandelt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ich habe drei Exemplare der Schule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Auf dem Titelblatt steht der Hinweis&nbsp;<strong>Neue vom Verfasser revidierte Ausgabe<\/strong>. Das Vorwort ist mit 1913 datiert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Alberto Barcony<\/strong>&nbsp;war Sprach- und Musiklehrer. Seine Tochter Pia Bracony-Schilling (18.10.1913 &#8211; 14.10.2006) war Schauspielerin und hat zwei B\u00fccher \u00fcber Hunde ver\u00f6ffentlicht: Mein Leben f\u00fcr und mit 15 Doggen \/ Mein Berliner Hundehotel<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bracony hat auch eine&nbsp;Ausgabe der Carulli Gitarrenschule ver\u00f6ffentlicht und eine eigene Gitarrenschule herausgegeben:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NY POPULAR GUITAR SKOLE (New Popular Guitar School) OP. 36 (Arranged by Guitarist Alberto Bracony) (BD. I)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Auf der R\u00fcckseite dieser Schule sind weitere Werke von Bracony aufgef\u00fchrt:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bracony schreibt im Vorwort (siehe Abbildung unten):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eine gute Mandoline in H\u00e4nden eines ge\u00fcbten Spielers, welcher das Instrument wirklich zu spielen versteht, ist ein ebenso vollkommenes Instrument wie z. B. die Geige, womit sich die Mandoline am besten vergleichen l\u00e4\u00dft, weil, da beide gleich gestimmt sind und das Griffbrett gleich eingeteilt ist, sich St\u00fccke, welche f\u00fcr die Violine geschrieben sind, auch auf der Mandoline spielen lassen.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bracony orientiert sich also was das Spielmaterial betrifft sehr stark an der Literatur f\u00fcr die Geige, wobei die ausgew\u00e4hlten St\u00fccke wirklich gut f\u00fcr die Mandoline passen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Einige Beispiele sollen das verdeutlichen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>98 &#8211; Moment Musical von Schubert<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>104 &#8211; Andante aus der Oper Orpheus von Ch. Field<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>137 &#8211; Aus einer Sonate von J. S. Bach (Staccato \u00dcbung)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>140 &#8211; Aus der Romanze in G-Dur Op. 40 von L. van Beethoven<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>144 &#8211; Et\u00fcde von R. Kreutzer (Staccato \u00dcbung)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>149 &#8211; Aus dem Concert Op. 100 von De Beriot<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>150 &#8211; Capriccio op. 30 von Ferdinand David<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Bracony empfiehlt in seiner Schule die Mandolinen von Luigi Embergher in Rom, er beschreibt auch die Unterschiede zwischen der neapolitanischen Mandoline und der r\u00f6mischen Mandoline:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Spielart und der Klang der r\u00f6mischen und der neapolitanischen Mandoline ist dieselbe, die beiden Instrumente unterscheiden sich nur in ihrer Bauart. Bei der neapolitanischen Mandoline hat der Hals eine runde Form, das Griffbrett, oben beim Sattel gemessen, ist mindesten 27 mm breit, und der Steg ist so gebaut, dass die Saiten alle gleich hoch \u00fcber der Resonanzdecke liegen. Bei der r\u00f6mischen Mandoline l\u00e4uft der Hals etwas spitz zu, das Grifbrett ist h\u00f6chstens 23 mm breit und der Steg ist so gebaut, da\u00df die tiefen Saiten h\u00f6her \u00fcber der Resonanzdecke liegen als die hohen Saiten. Die r\u00f6mischen Mandolinen sind unbedingt praktischer und bequemer zu spielen; die besten r\u00f6mischen Mandolinen baut augenblicklich der&nbsp;<strong>Luigi Embergher<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Rom<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bracony<\/strong>&nbsp;war in D\u00e4nemark als Gitarrist aktiv und hat auch Gitarrenschulen herausgegeben. Ausserdem wird vermutet, dass die kleine Mandolinenschule von Alberto auch von Bracony ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Auf einer Internetseite habe ich einen Artikel \u00fcber die Gitarre in D\u00e4nemark gefunden, in welchem auch Bracony erw\u00e4hnt wird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bidrag till gitarristiken Part I [Contributions to Guitar Studies] by Daniel Fryklund:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dort heisst es:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-theme-palette-8-background-color has-background\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p>Concerning Danish guitarists, Zuth mentions in addition to Berggreen and Gade, Peder Schall, Henrik and Frederik Rung, as well as the recent Italian-born, but working in Copenhagen, guitarist,&nbsp;<strong>Alberto Bracony<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>und weiter unten:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Alberto Bracony<\/strong>&nbsp;is presumed by Zuth as to be identical with pseudonym A. Alberto, who produced a small guitar and lute method in Leipzig in 1912 according to Zuth. We have Alberto\u2019s method in a Swedish translation, which however was published by Benjamin in Hamburg. Zuth lists only the works of Bracony which were published in Germany. However, when he was working in Copenhagen, Bracony published through Skandinavisk Musikforlag Guitarspillerens f\u00f8rste Sange [The Guitarist\u2019s First Songs] (2 issues), Op. 11, and pieces for the mandolin.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Ebenso interessant ist die Erw\u00e4hnung von Alberto Bracony in<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-theme-palette-8-background-color has-background\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p>The Guitar, an exotic instrument in Danish Music<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>a Synopsis in English<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>by Erling M\u00f8ldrup,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>professor of guitar at the Royal Academy of Music in \u00c5rhus Denmark<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-theme-palette-7-background-color has-background\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Chapter seventeen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The &#8222;mandolin-guitarists&#8220;. I choose to call them so, because these &#8222;plectralists&#8220; both played in the very many mandolin-orchestras, but also were outstandingly active in the more refined classical guitar circles. To-day these cultural aspects, which were also a part of the &#8222;Socialdemocrat`s&#8220; cultural policy, still lives, but now sad enough only in Copenhagen. Names such as Laurids Kragelund, Albert Petersen, August Etlinger, Achton Friis and many others tells a charming story about a culture now in danger of being lost. Some of them alongside their involvement in the orchestras, also published educational works for both mandolin and the guitar, arranged for the instruments and even composed small pieces and song accompaniments. A figure like Alberto Bracony who originally came from Italy enjoyed great popularity as a player of both mandolin and the guitar. He was historically important because of his teaching activities which inspired many young people to take up the fretted instrument. He was in a period teacher for my teacher at the Royal Academy in \u00c5rhus, Jytte Gorki Schmidt.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Folgende Werke von A.
