Diese Schule wurde f\u00fcr das Mandolinen-Banjo, auch Banjoline genannt, geschrieben. Als Besonderheit behandelt diese Mandolinenschule auch – vermutlich zum ersten Mal f\u00fcr Mandoline – das Thema Jazz. So heisst es: All obtainable effects on this instrument and how to play in „Jazz“ style<\/strong>, are explained in this tutor. <\/em>Aber es wird auch darauf hingewiesen, dass die Schule auch f\u00fcr Mandolin und Mandola geeignet sind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Schule ist sehr gr\u00fcndlich und behandelt alle wichtigen Techniken, viele interessante St\u00fccke von S. L\u00e9onardi liefern ausreichend \u00dcbungsmaterial, vieles davon ist auch als Vortragsst\u00fcck zu gebrauchen. Interessant auch die \u00c4u\u00dferungen \u00fcber die verschiedenen Banjo Modelle und ihre Unterschiede – sogar das ausgefallene Zither-Banjo wird erw\u00e4hnt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
